MEET EMILY
I love it when clients turn to me for advice.
Creativity ignites inside the head. As my clients imagine, dream, and think, I am committed to making sure clients look their best. Since I started styling in 1999, I’ve been drawn to discovering looks, colors, and cuts that result in people leaving my studio with confidence. Sometimes the task is simple upkeep, and other times the mission is a hair-styling overhaul. Either way, my job is not done until a smile forms.
That also means my education is never done. Learning new techniques and discovering innovative products assists in styling, coloring, and maintenance, especially for curly and textured hair. Thinking about adding length and volume with hair extensions? I know three application methods. Relaxers and smoothing systems? I’ve had both on my roster for years. My hair styling and communication skills result in custom looks that are polished, current, and on-track.
I’m always searching for influences, most often from travel and design. I’ve styled hair for New York Fashion Week, and since travel is a passion, trips to New York, London, Chicago, and Los Angeles to learn from and work with industry professionals combine inspiration and elevated skills.
Now that stylist (and niece) Ella has joined the team, I get even more inspiration from her fresh perspectives on cut, color, and style.
